I decided today to merge this plugin from the Adobe site as usual and ran into a novelty - only the network installer is downloaded. The player itself of course has the auto-update function, but it offers its services somehow not regularly. But once it is recommended to update it more often, because now virus writers like to use the vulnerabilities of this browser plug-in to infect the computers of hapless users. So Adobe decided to do the same with its super-popular flash player for browsers.

So spread for example Skype, Google chrome. These are such small exe-files that, after launching, download the main installer over the network and then start it. Recently, some software manufacturers have taken fashion on their sites instead of full-fledged standalone installers of distribution kits to provide network installers.
